Bruce Thomas and Eddy Cola met in Montreal’s indie music scene of the mid-’90s. They played in several bands together and became close friends..Recently they reunited in Venice, CA as a guitar/drums duo by the name of Lofi Uppercut. With a handful of gigs under their belt, they decided to cut a live-off-the-floor album. The result, recorded over two weeks in a home studio, is nine tracks of guitar-driven alt-rock cut with a dose of ’60s psych. As for the future? By the sound of it, it’s currently taking shape within the music.
