Bruce Thomas and Eddy Cola met in Montreal’s indie music scene of the mid 2000’s. They played in bands together and became close friends. In 2009 they recorded one track before going their separate ways. Recently they reunited in Venice, CA as a guitar/drums duo by the name of¬†Lofi Uppercut. With a handful of gigs under their belt, they decided to cut a live-off-the-floor album. The result, is ¬†“One of Us” an eleven tracks of guitar-driven alt-rock cuts with a dose of ’60s psych. As for the future? By the sound of it, it’s currently taking shape within the music.
